What is At The Table?

At the Table: Women in Business and Leadership is one of the key initiatives the USHCC Foundation built to support future business leaders and ignite the entrepreneurial spirit of communities across America. This initiative is comprised of two components: The Enterprise Accelerator and the Speaker Series. The Enterprise Accelerator program gives participants access to tailored business and leadership training and the opportunity to strategically grow their network. The Speaker Series allows us to highlight the incredible women entrepreneurs, corporate executives, politicians and other trailblazers that are leading the nation’s economic and social growth..

The Enterprise Accelerator

The Enterprise Accelerator works to support emerging Latina business leaders and serves as a catalyst for their entrepreneurial endeavors. Every year, the program selects three women to become part of the Enterprise Accelerator cohort. The selected participants receive an all-expenses paid fellowship at the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative or an alternative education program, mentoring from Presidents and CEOs of various companies, and a personal business coach to help them develop quantifiable action plans. The participants are also acknowledged and honored at the Women in Business Luncheon during the USHCC National Convention and the USHCC Foundation Gala in November.

The Speaker Series

The Speaker Series aims to illuminate and amplify the experiences that women and minorities face in their pursuit towards leadership. The series has covered topics such as women in boardroom, women in the White House, and Latinas running for office. Past speakers include politicians and C-Suite executives, such as Jennifer Sirangelo, President of the 4-H Council, Congresswoman Nannette Diaz Barragan, and CEO of Pinnacle Group Nina Vaca, leader of the second fastest growing woman-owned business in the country. In addition, attendees have the opportunity to engage with panelists and speakers at a networking event after each discussion.
